2007 WALSH CUP DRAW -
Prelim round, Jan 21: (1) Laois v Down
Quarter-finals, Jan 28: (2) 1 v Dublin; (3) Wexford v Antrim; (4) Westmeath v Offaly; (5) Kilkenny v UCD
Semi-finals, Feb 4: 2 v 3; 4 v 5
Final, Feb 10: 2/3 v 4/5
Very early for hurling but I suppose its better than just training. It'll give the lads a chance to stretch their limbs at least.
It should all be competitive enough apart from kilkenny, depending on what sort of team they put out. Laois v Down should be good as should the winners v Dublin. Westmeath could give Offaly a right rattle.
I agree. All the games bar Kilkenny/UCD should be tight. Lets hope they get desent weather.
How are Down and Laoid shaping up anyone know?

Laois are putting in substantial effort under Fox this year...
I predict a lobsided game...
Down could really struggle this year. Gary savage has just retired and Paul Branniff has unfortunately suffered another cruciate injury. Big players , big miss

Sorry to hear that. That will be a massive blow considering An Dún are Div 1 hurling this year.
