Title: Rules and regulations. Croke Park is taking the Piss
Post by: milltown row on October 24, 2009, 07:52:11 PM
just got the rules about inter club championship games, what a money spinner.

if you step over the line as the manager 400 euro!!!!

Goal Keepers not permitted to have a supply of sliotars in th goal area 500 euro!!!

8 weeks suspension should team officials make a derogatory comment during an interview including a fine

no puck abouts during half time, 400 euro

Clubs don't have any money as it is and are being punished by silly rules. this is not a professional sport. i know our cub paid out a sizeable fine each time they have played Ulster.

Some of the the rules and fines are money spinners.

If you don't stand to attention during the antem you can get fined too. Stupid stuff.

A lot of stupid rules indeed. Clubs are finding it hard enough these days without silly fines like this.

Dromore would need to tell Ryan Porter to keep within the sidelines. He enjoys the odd run out onto the pitch.

Clubs should also be fined if their supporters run onto the field and hit the referee!!!

How much do you think would be appropriate ?   ;)

Seriously though, these rules are pathetic. Not allowing subs to puck around at half time ??? WTF ?? What's the logic in this ?

They do this with football games as well as hurling games - can't see insurance being the reason.

Those rules are same ones used for county teams so I presume that's why the fines are so high
