Since the majority of dentists have went private its a disaster to find one.

Anyone know any around the Newry/ Armagh Area?

I dont mind paying for work done but was just curious to see if there is still many about?

I'm not sure about finding a new one, but I know if I dont keep regular 6 month check ups with my own dentist I will no longer be an 'NHS patient', so anyone out of the country for a while could be in the sh1tter.

The biggest practice in Armagh is probably P Murphy & Assoc in Russell street, you could try them 02837 524958

Hungary. Apparently "dental" tourism from Ireland to Budapest is very big. Cheaper to fly to Budapest, stay in a hotel or apartment for a week and pay to get your choppers sorted out than to go around the corner to your local dentist. Says a whole lot about our economy and culture.

Mcelholm's on the Malone Rd still take new patients under the NHS. A very good practice it is as well.
