Anyone got stats on how counties fair when both the minor and senior teams are involved?

Personally I think it cant be good for the senior team. They're bound to have one eye on how the minors are doing (club mates or relatves involved). Maybe it helps calm the senior team, but more so it distracts their focus.

As far as the fans are concerned, it means one emotional roller coaster after the other, so you'll all be exhausted by the time the ball is thrown in for the senior match.

You are wrong about 1984, as the Minor Final was between Dublin and Tipperary.  So, for that year it was Dublin - Senior lost Minor won (unfortunately).

1965 Kerry lost minor to Derry (courtesy of my Da  ;D) and then to Galway in the senior game.

Did Frank McGuigan play a minor and senior semi in the same day in 1973?

Have Minors and Seniors ever won together?
Dunno about the football, but Kilkenny did the double in 2002 (?) in the hurling, as remarkably did Clare in 1997.

Anyone got any stats with regard Tyrone? I can't seem to find any... or else the documents online are too long winded to go through !! Wouldn't it be great if tyrone seniors and minors both had a win on the 21st ?!

Minder

Kilkenny are going for Senior, Minor, U-21 and Intermediate this year in hurling.

ONeill

Kerry did the double in '62, '75. Dublin in '58. Probably others.
