To help with the above question:

While abroad all Data is excluded from your tariff allowance and charged at £6 per MB (£3 per MB in the EU).

I got that message when I was in the south. I don't really know what it means to be honest.

It means if you surf at all you're fecked.

Anyone done the tethering yoke?

I wonder, does Croke Park have a wireless internet connection?

Casement Park did when I was up for the Derry game, however it was locked.

My phone rejects every outside wireless as 'unsafe'. It would need to lighten up.

I was at a meeting in Croke Park and there is was a free wireless connection then and it is available around the ground as far as I am aware.
The meeting was in the premium level on the Cusack side.

Archie Mitchell

Its maybe available when Croke Park is being used for conferences. I couldn't see them making it available during games. There would be too many people trying to connect.

Want to listen to the commentary of the game, whilst watching it.

Can't be bothered carting a wee radio about. Don't have one.

Sometimes stuff happens in a game, that I miss. I wanna know what happen.

Sure a wee radio would be no size at all, its not as if your carrying a ghetto blaster about with you. What about them ones you buy that you stick onto your ear.

ziggysego

I'll see how I get on this Sunday. I'll get a radio next time, if needs be and there is a next time.

Anyone know of anywhere you can get the 3G on the cheap - apart from ebay?!

Has anyone tried out the Navigon Sat Nav application. I'd like to get it but I am hearing bad reports about it not performing especially when roaming and data is turned off.(eventhough data has apparently got nothing to do with the GPS lock)

I think Tomtom are also introducing an app in the coming weeks. The app can be purchased with an additional holder that boosts the GPS receiver.

Archie Mitchell

Them sat nav apps are quite dear. Would you not just be better buying a proper sat nav. Probably better and more reliable than using it on the iPhone.
