The late Jimmy Murray by any chance? Including a replay in 43 or 44 I think

Top marks.

Jimmy Murray was also the first man to captain his county to win back to back senior AI's titles in 43 and 44. Another good table quiz question!

Can anyone name the 7 captains who have lifted Sam twice?

RedandGreenSniper

Declan O'Sullivan (06 and 07); DJ Kane?? (91 and 94); Tony Hanahoe (74? and 77?); Enda Colleran (during two of the three in a row); Sean Flanagan (50 and 51) and Jimmy Murray (43 and 44).
I'd say I'm wrong with DJ Kane but can't think of anyone else
Mayo for Sam! Just don't ask me for a year

5 Sams

Apologies lads that should be 7 captains. I stupidly omitted Deccie O'Sullivan......

Seán Flanagan of Mayo, Enda Colleran of Galway, Tony Hanahoe of Dublin and Jimmy Murray of Roscommon are correct.... 2 to go!

Hardy

Joe Barrett, Kerry and JJ Reilly, Cavan.

Spot on bosco.

Easy enough one to finish (gotta do some work)....

Name the players who won AI medals as well as an FA cup medal and AI medal as well as an FAI cup medal.

Hardy

I presume Kevin Moran is the only one in the first category. Dinny Allen and Dave Barry are the only ones I can think of as likely candidates in the second, though I don't know whether they won soccer medals.

Yep Dinny Allen. Won a FAi cup medal with Cork Hibs in 73 or 74 not sure which.
