xbox wireless adapter

Have it connected but need my network setting or some dross off my computer, where do you find them?

Have you got a wireless router?
Is it security enabled?
If it is it will have some sort of a key. 
You may have set this yourself or with some the key may be on the actual router itself.

lol I have no idea. It is all wireless enabled. I just know I have to key in some netwrok codes to my xbox dashboard. I have to get it for my broadband connection and I don't know where to look. its wireless secxurity setting, wireless network name (SSID) etc.

What sort of router have you?

Go to Start>Run type in cmd and press ok.
In the black window type in ipconfig and press enter
take a note of the default gateway
Put that number intot he address bar of your web browser/ internet explorer.
This should bring you to the router admin page where you might have to log in and the wireless settings should be there.

What make and model of router is it?
Try it without a password
or try admin for both
