Blackwater Community School 0-14 St Mary's 1-8

Think it was 0-10 to 1-2 at half time.

Hard lines to St Marys.

Second defeat in a row for an Antirm school in the final.

Yes it was CPC last year and they lost narrowly in the final as well to Bunclody. Never mind Antrim teams in the final its the 4th year in a row that the Ulster champions have been in the B All Ireland final with St Pats Maghera having lost in 05 and then won in 06. Thats a great record compared to what went before in the 80's and 90's. Granted I think the Ulster Champions appeared in the A semi finals in some years in the 90's but i think its 1989 you have to go back to before Maghera in 2005 for an Ulster teams appearance in the final (St Louis Ballymena). Stand to be corrected on that of course but i think the point is that the schools and clubs involved can take a lot of credit from the work that has been put in in the last 10 years or so.
