My Yankee selections

Shrue - Dead Cert IMO
Charlestown - Dead Cert IMO
Crossmolina - Should take Ballagh
Ballintubber - My own club

See this page and the next for opinions for this weekends games.

I dont think Ballagh will do much this year, its hard to retain a title and do it all again a year later. Also they are missing Pearse Hanley (AFL star with Swans). Also they have the hard side of the draw. Also Barry Kelly (midfielder) could be injured. Even if back he wont be very fit. Barry Regan isnt showing the form of last year since he was let go from the Mayo squad.
Where as Crossmolina have been playing great stuff all year. James Nallen is laying the club football of his life. Ciaran McDonald is playing like he has a point to prove. Maughan as manager will have them flying. Gardner will take the game to Ballagah and run all day. And the Cross Full Forward line is as good as whats out there.

I dont expect Ballagh to get past Crossmolina tomorrow. If the do they face ourselves (who will be gunning for them after last year) or Knockmore, who have serious caliber.
After that they could face Charlestown or Shrule in the Final, both of whom are capable of beating them.

hard to know what to make of ballyhale this year - shite conditions forecast for tomorrow and they really struggled last day out - wouldn't have touched them.

think kilcoo at 7/4 are a great bet.

The Loup grind out results, Derry teams have great tradition in Ulster club.

Ballyhale should meet Portumna in the Final (sorry Max & Skull) Shefflin missed loads last time out, he'll not do the same tomorrow, TJ Ried is also flying (8/1 first goal)

Anyone know much about clontiberet? Casements bound to f**k them up, no?
