I feel like stirring it up in the interests of balance. Here are my all time favourite Dublin scores.

1. Bernard Brogan "drilling for oil" in 1977
2. Barney Rock's goal in AIF 1983
3. Keavney's peno in 77 agin Armagh that got stuck in the stantion (I think it was that goal)
4. Dully sticking the ball under the jumper agin Meed in (I think) 89 and scoring a goal after running 45 yards with no solo

Jimmy Keaveney's goal after Tom McCreesh went on his hole in 77.....closely followed by Bernard's goal in the semi ...deadly stuff.

In recent years Whelans goal V Armagh in 2002 was pretty good.

I was never convinced Jimmy was going for the goal there, 5Sams. I thought Duff's goal in 1989, as nominated by Shamrock Shore, 25 steps or not, was the best I've seen them score against us.

Personally my favourites are:-

Ciarán Duff's goal v Kerry in 1987 Lge Final
Whelo v Armagh in AISF 2002
Barney Rock's goal v Cork in AISF (1st game) 1983 ...only for the dramatic effect
Mick Galvin (I think) v Leitrim in AISF 1994....an end to end move
Declan O'Dwyer's last minute goal against Kilkenny in Minor semi final in Carlow 2005.(A day I thought I would never see , Dubs beating the Cats)
