As it's GAAboard tradition to talk music lists round this time of year, what do people think are the albums of the decade so far, those that will stand the test of time? No compilations! I'll throw out three- Bruce's "The Rising", Arcade Fire's "Funeral" (I know it's clichéd these days to call it an album of the decade, but it really is still sensational and Richard Hawley's "Cole's Corner". Beautiful stuff altogether!

Ballboa

Gnevin

Black Mirror is better than Funeral .
Don't forget
All That You Can't Leave Behind and How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb
Jeep
Killers Sam's town
Demon Days
Life for rent while not my cup of tea was a very strong  album
American Idiot ?
Far to many to pick a best
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

ONeill

Brittney Spears' latest is decent.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Borderline this decade but it's the best album ever anyways, Air - Moon Safari.  And f**k the no compilation rule Lost in Translation soundtrack is a close second.

I havent heard the Boss' new album Magic, but by all accounts is amazing, better than The Rising or Devils and Dust. But if that were true could have a claim to that title. Im really finding it hard to pick an album due to the current nature of the music business. Based on trends, with bands of a particular genre getting signed up and dissapearing very quickly, not producing any real quality or given a chance to develop musically.

Anyway....

My favourite albums of this decade:

Mastodon(2): Blood Mountain & Leviathan
The Answer: Rise
Era Vulgaris: What Stirs Within
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016
