Another 2 points dropped by Madrid. 4 in it now with 7 games left.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Real Betis (A)

Real Madrid
Atl Madrid  (A)
Sporting Gijon (H)
Barcelona (A)
Sevilla  (H)
Athletic Bilbao (A)

On paper Madrid have tougher run-in & it would be interesting finish if Barca win the el clasico.
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

Goal difference,  Madrid +79  Barca +75  ;D

odds,
El Clasico:  Barca win  4/5 -  draw  11/4 -  Madrid win 16/5
Title:   Madrid 4/7  Barca 17/11

I thought Barca would be shorter odds than that.  I see the derby game is squeezed in between the CL semi finals.
The CL fixture dates slightly favour Madrid.
Barca have to play Chelsea away on a Wed  and the following Tues at home
Madrid play Bayern on a Tues away and the following Wed at home.
El Clasico has been moved from the Sunday to Saturday evening

Goal difference doesn't count in Spain. Its head to head and Barca are currently 3-1 up with a home leg to come.

El Clasico is now a monumental match. Considering they are both away in 1st legs it wouldn't be a huge stretch to see them both
lose and then be under massive pressure to perform the Clasico.

ONeill

Barca play at home tonight. A chance to turn the screw a little on Mourinho.

I had no other thought than just highlighting the actual (incredible) goal difference involved.

ONeill

Another Messi special.

I can imagine Barca had to do some post game athletics on the pitch to work up a bit sweat before their shower.
Sublime header from Pedro for the 4th.

laoislad

Ronaldo on fire tonight, two excellent goals.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.
