Anyone seen any good bands recently, or would recommend any that should be seen live.
Not talking about stadium gig stuff, more the up and coming ones.
Im just getting back into it again, went to see Revernd and the Makers last night, supported by the Ting Tings, and would def recommend both!!

Also heading to see Pigeon Detectives, The Twang and The Enemy in the near future.

Not sure how many times I've seen them, but they never fail to disappoint live. Cracking band, great albums, should be more acclaimed than they are.

Do they still do that dressing up thing at the end? First time I seen them at that crack I spilt me beer.

The Legend of Luke Kelly
This highly acclaimed tribute show to arguably Ireland's finest ballad singer, Luke Kelly, returns for what promises to be another box office hit at theatre venues throughout Ireland. Performed by Chris Kavanagh and his group, 'The Patriots', Chris's natural voice and appearance is considered to be the closest resemblance to that of Luke Kelly....some claim by anyone's standards. Uilleann pipes, banjo, guitars and whistles all form the back drop to this ever popular show. A Song For Ireland, Raglan Road, The Rare Ould Times, Free The People, The Town I Loved So Well, The Dublin Minstrel......all the hits are here plus many more.
