These was a traveller from Claremorris that was sentenced to play football with the local GAA team a few years back. The judge called him  mallet head and later had to apolgise to him for the slur on his good name. I wonder did he ever show up and do his sentence?

Mick O'Dwyer, John Maughan, John O'Mahoney, Peter Forde, Paidai O'Se, Mickey Moran, Ger Loughnanne, Val Daly, Tommy Lyons are some famous GAA travellers   ;)
