I think Kerry and Cork are the top two, fallowed by Tyrone and Dublin the rest are just making up the numbers

Derry team selection and decision making during the game has improved that's why they beat Armagh(who are on the  way down) and Mayo (who are in transition).  They might beat Laois but do not have a good record against them.  Derry need a new management team.  The last two matches demonstarted that the talent is there to make a real impact at National level in 2008.  Its now over to the County Board to make that decision when Derry exit this years competion.

no way, at the minute Derry would be well behind the top 4 Kerry Tyrone Dublin Cork and on a par with Galway Meath Donegal Monaghan

Derry are on a roll and will be hard to beat - they muight beat themselves with this great result !

dont think this thread should even have been started! gettin a bit ahead of the thing there! as the season stands after that performance against monaghan anything after that was always goin to be a bonus. i think people will feel that altho derry beat armagh and mayo, both those teams would pose more of a threat overall to the big 2. derry will just take one game at a time and the good thing for us is that theres absoultely no pressure on us. at the min anyway. its good to get a bit of momentum going but if derry win another couple of matches then perhaps il come back to this thread!

we cant be putting the cart before the horse here, the thing has to be kept in context.
Anyway, its very hard to read the form this year. Dublin looked really, really good yesterday but if Derry to go out and beat Laois, then the strength of leinster as a province will surely come into question.
Derry seem to thrive on the back door system with games coming thick and fast, whereas other teams do not enjoy this! Hard to beat a wee bit of momentum, so may the good run continue!  :D

Sounds impressive beating Armagh & Mayo, to be honest last year or the year before if someone did it they defo would be All-Ireland contenders but as of this year Armagh & Mayo are in transition and while both where annual top 5 teams, often top 3 they are at best both at the bottom of top 10. I do believe with the amount of talent, good management & underage structures that both teams will be back to haunt the Championship circa 2009 & thanks to the fall of grace, they will be in the Semis before anyone takes notice, the way ya want it really, both have been high profile for too long, a little time under the rador and Sam might be going to the Orchard or Plains in the not so distant future.

Derry won't win Sam but they might reach a Final. Good Luck to Derry, fans are goof craic.

Bogball is giving you false inforamtion, tut tut! Its an open draw for the quarters. Would be a Kerry/Dublin and Tyrone/Sligo semi if they all won though. Bit stupid that Tyrone can beat Monaghan today and then may have to play them in the very next match - dont think this should be allowed.

this can't happen, provincial winners can't play the team they beat in provincial final at the quarter final stage! earliest they can meet is in the semi's

only time will tell.we can beat any team on a good day. so we need a few more good days 8) 8)
