Shrewdness

What do the United Season Ticket holders on here think of the Club's policy of making you pay for a Champions League Home ticket, whether you want it or not, and then stop you from trying to sell it on the Manchester United Ticket Exchange,to someone who might want to go. >:(

A few weeks ago, United dipped into my Credit Card, and charged me for a ticket for next Wednesday night's game v Wolfsberg. Due to work etc, i am unable to go, but i've still been charged for the ticket.

United run the Manchester United Ticket Exchange in conjunction with a company called Viagogo, where Season Ticket holders can sell their spare tickets for games they won't be going to themselves, to other United fans........BUT ONLY if United declare the match a sell out.

In other words, if United still have unsold tickets themselves, Season Ticket holders are blocked from selling their tickets on the Ticket Exchange.

This is what has happened to me re the Wolfsberg match. I was charged for a ticket even though i won't be going, and because United themselves have not sold all their tickets, i am not allowed to sell it to someone else on the Ticket Exchange!!

It gets better. This weekend, United will help themselves to my Credit Card again for the price of a ticket for the home game v CSKA Moscow on Nov 3, a full month before the game. :o

Shrewdness - the Glazers are c***ts and the way that United is being run is totally anti-supporter and pro csh generation. Most people don't know and care less about this.

As for Nani - the reason he ets into good position and gets the ball in space is because opposition teams (doubl) mark the United players who are actually a threat. Nani is a just not good enough.

I said it last year and was heavily criticised on here for it, but Nani is a disgrace.

I cant imagine anyone criticising you for saying that about Nani

Was thinking watching the game, whats the chances of Rooney breaking Giggs appearance record?

At present it looks like Giggs is somewhere around the 815 mark, with Rooney on roughly 250. Giggs you would think could get to around the 870. Could Rooney do it based on the theory that he could adapt his role as he gets older??

Don't think he was better than any other game to be honest.

The excellent form of last years player of the year continues. What a fantastic player. Scored a goal, albeit with a wicked deflection, another perfectly good goal disallowed and an assist thrown in for good measure. It really is incredible that he is playing so well just a couple of months shy of his 36th birthday. As for his appearance record - I can see Rooney playing well into his 30's too but I dont see him getting close the appearance record. One he could go close to in the astonishing feat that Giggs has scored in 20 (yes, twenty!) consecutive top flight seasons. Rooney has 8 including this season and turns 24 in a few weeks.

I thought Berbatov looked good in the 25 minutes up to half time after he came on. To be honest I didn't pay as close attention to the second half so can't tell if he followed it through. Ronnie Whelan said in the first half that its a pity he doesn't do this kind of stuff all the time and for once he was spot on.

Another job done efficiently. I think that is 9 games on the trot Utd have won. Would hope to get 3 points this weekend and if the scousers can somehow hold of for a draw it would work well for us. Can see them getting thumped though.

It seems the Soccernet correspondant was suitably impressed with Berbatov tonight. Always good to have a neutrals opinion.  ;)

Rooney has 250 appearances in 5 years.  He will probably be at the club for another 12 years, so he will get close to it I reckon.  I think he will also break both the England goals and appearances records.

Rooney does not have the physique to play at United for 12 more years.
