Maybe, I'm just saying to be careful. Has a reputable news outlet published it yet? (The S*n doesn't count)

Boycey

The bones of the story is undoubtedly true but the bit about him being sent home from Spanish squad appears to have come from a spoof account...

In Spain, yes.

The only thing that is being reported is that they have been implicated by the testimony of this witness. No mention of any investigation or charges or anything. Yet.

I'm not familiar with that paper. Has El Pais, or Marca, mentioned anything yet?

The International Business Times are running the story but from El Diario as well.

Headline says: 'Munian and De Gae implicated by a witness in sexual abuse case'. They quote the El Diario story but say that their police sources have confirmed that their names were brought up in the police investigation.

Yeah I see it now alright. Looks like there's definitely something going on, but as you said, no charges or anything. And I don't see anything about him being sent home.

Yahoo are reporting it. Balague says he's "in the hotel with the team". Which may well be true and not true at the same time. If he isn't gone yet, you can't imagine he'll be around too much longer.

People starting to dig up Tweets between the porn baron ("Torbe") and players - De Gea, Muniain, Javi Martinez. Only ones I've seen have been from him to them. There's certainly a connection.

The Spanish national TV channel have now released a story saying the police have confirmed it to them that the documents exist but that no soccer player has been arrested or taken for questioning.

Jeepers Creepers

Yip. Giulliem Balague tweeting that De gea remains with the team but there is a courtcase pending from an incident in 2012.

Maroon Manc

I see a few reporting that the police have already investigated the incident, case closed.

Hahaha, you're off your rocker. The John Terry case in England is shown you don't have to be found guilty of a crime to get shafted by matters off the pitch.

Case closed as far the players are concerned apparently, English FA very different from any other.
