NAG1

At least it creates a bit of interest in an otherwise extremely dull competition.

What a super St Paddies Day pressie!  Handing out a lesson to the bin-dippers!  ;D

St Patrick's Day carnage in pubs up and down the country!

Great draw. Will inject a bit of interest. Neither set of supporters can be too confident but it offers a nice prize for the winner. Should be some craic!

Maroon Manc

GMP will be delighted, will be an interesting day in the City Centre pubs.

Our good run will surely come to an end considering both sides are evenly matched.

Stop being so pessimistic MM! Things are far from perfect but f**k it, United should be able to win this over two legs. Manager wise whatever is going to happen will happen at the end of the season.

Maroon Manc

I've not faith in him at all, prepare for the worst so if it does happen I won't be too disappointed. We'll see what happens over the next week or so as we've 3 leagues games before the first leg.

It will be a huge week for United, we play West Ham in the Cup on the Sunday in between both games. Its a busy 3 weeks starting this Sunday with 8 games to be played in 22 days, if we're still in both cup comps I'll be a happy man.

GJL

There are quite a few big players due back from injury soon so he should have more option available. Rooney being out is no big deal and maybe even an advantage as we seen last night.

magpie seanie

Rooney being out is a help.

What's the deal with DeGea and Martial's injuries?

Which players?

I know Valencia is back training but haven't got a clue about Jones, Darmian, Schweinsteiger & Felliani although I'd be more than happy if he'd played his last game for the club. I'd imagine Young won't be back for another month.

Rojo looks like he is back Martial hopefully not out for long. DeGea maybe? Smalling? Schweinsteiger is aiming to be back by the Europa first leg.

gallsman

Was Rooney not in cracking form just before getting injured?

The Stallion

Rooney hasn't been in cracking form for several years. He's just not a top class striker and never has been.

Not true, he has been deadly at the international level, he loves playing for his country, he collects a really, really big check from United, that is the difference.
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.
