rossie mad

Was this just a clever ploy from the Utd supporters to take the attention from an abysmal performance against stoke and the realisation that they are a one horse town.

Hats off to them great tactic.

United are a one man team?  I could have swore that someone else scored one of the goals of the season at the weekend for them then?  United have great players all over the park, and currently they have one player scoring more goals than the rest of the team which is nothing unusual in football as its the same situation with every team to be honest.  It wasn't the best performance United have had, but any game away to Stoke is tough and United are sitting pretty at the top of the league.  What more could you ask for really?!?

I see a flaw in your argument, the story was originally posted before the game by a non United fan too I think...

Injuries mounting up, down to the bare bones for tomorrow night. Hopefully get through this week ok and then get a few back during international break.

QuoteManchester United manager Alex Ferguson could be without eight senior players for Tuesday's Champions League encounter with Basle at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney is expected to miss out with the hamstring injury that sidelined him for Saturday's draw with Stoke and he was among a long list of players who did not train at United's Carrington HQ this morning.

Also absent was Rooney's strike partner Javier Hernandez, who limped off early in the Stoke game with a dead leg.

If Hernandez does not recover in time to face the Swiss outfit, Ferguson will be choosing between Michael Owen, Dimitar Berbatov and fit-again Danny Welbeck in his attack.

But the problems do not stop there for United. Central defenders Jonny Evans (ankle), Chris Smalling (groin) and Nemanja Vidic (calf) also did not train.

That is almost certain to mean Rio Ferdinand lining up alongside youngster Phil Jones tomorrow evening, with Antonio Valencia again pressed into service as an emergency right-back as Rafael (shoulder) is out with a long-term problem.

Fellow long-term casualties Tom Cleverley (foot) and Darron Gibson (ankle) have long since been ruled out.

Wonder if SAF will follow KK and AVB in contacting the referees assoc after the decisions that went against United on Saturday??

We'll not be accepting them unless Mike Riley is there in person, its only fair.

Who do you think was driving the whiskey truck? Howard Webb was in the other.

As said above plenty out injured but still a strong squad for tomorrow night De Gea, Lindegaard, Evra, Jones, Ferdinand, Fabio, Fletcher, Park, Nani, Anderson, Young, Valencia, Giggs, Carrick, Owen, Berbatov, Welbeck, Macheda and Diouf.
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

Owen will be able to cement his England recall so....he'll be delighted.
