Albums aren't quite the force they used to be, sadly. I was trying to think of a killer Who or Stones or Police or Johnny Cash album, for example, that would make my top 5. TBH Radiohead or U2 could have had another album ahead of all of them.

With iTunes, Spotify etc, who really listens to a full album anymore?

The last two new albums I listened to, from start to finish, were U2 and The Villagers.

1. What's the Story Morning Glory? - Oasis
2. Stanley Road - Paul Weller
3. Everything Must Go - Manic Street Preachers

5 Sams

1. Screamadelica - Primal Scream
2. The Unforgettable Fire - U2
3. Abbey Road - The Beatles
4. Stop Making Sense - Talking Heads
5. Twenty Golden Greats - Glen Campbell.

This will change tomorrow. Impossible to pick an all time top 5.

#22
The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
The Clash - London Calling
Andy Irvine and Paul Brady - Andy Irvine and Paul Brady

hmmm can only name a top 3, they aren't in any order...the other 2 could be any pick of

Beatles - White Album, Van Morrison - Moondance, Joni Mitchell- Blue, Shane McGowan - The Snake, Oasis - Definitely Maybe, Luke Kelly - Performer (best of), The Ramones - The Ramones, Blondie - Parallel Lines, David Bowie - Hunky Dory.

**Would have put in any number of U2 albums a wean o years back but think their shite these days. Over produced radio friendly BS with mediocre musicianship, and Bono's a nob!
