I know sky broadband is sh*t/always blocking, BT is OK, what about plusnet? (owned by BT Group)

general

Its recommended to run with a VPN for firestick. Assuming you have this running it wont be an issue with any provider

My da has fibrus and they added a "safety" block there recently. I had to log in and disable it. I had been keeping an eye out for it as my provider warned us the internet companies were doing it.

Just checked there on the app. So I have the eero routers which I have an app for. On the home page as soon as you open it scroll down there's a bit that says "Internet backup". Click that and there will be a bit that says "network controls" then make sure everything in the next page is disabled. Ad blocker and advanced security mainly.

Not an Android box question but I've seen loads of adverts for these retro games consoles boxes/sticks that plug into TV and you can play all the old Sega Mega drive and SNes games amongst others.
Anyone ever buy one of them?

Two questions regarding IPTV on firesticks;
1.   I know there are different IPTV players available. A friend uses one called "8K" I'm not a huge fan of this interface. I think it would be better if you could hide the streams you're never going to be interested in, e.g. foreign languages & an overview TV guide would be good rather than having to click each feed – has anyone got a better recommendation?

2.   My friend just bought the IPTV feed from someone on FB marketplace, all communication via whatsapp & payment via paypal.
Is there a better way to pay without a trail of evidence leading back to his paypal?
I know they're not going to come after end users, but still

We got the kids a dance mat game at Christmas off amazon. We didn't realise but it also came with all the retro Nintendo games on it.
I've played a few of them, only issue is it doesn't seem to save your game progress, and the controllers are a bit cheap.
I've seed the ones list with PS1 games etc, look really good for the price
