Shane Walsh on the bench for Galway.

There's a wind in Salthill,apparently.
If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

Very bad weather in Galway today. Have a feeling this could be a pretty ugly game.
You'd not be looking for Derry games this last decade if you are looking for 70 mins of purist football !

5 minutes spread out over both halves perhaps!

Ugly it prob will be even if the sun was beaming down!
..........

Never beat the deeler

Bradley score from a tight angle

1-0 Derry
Hasta la victoria siempre

Never beat the deeler

Galway at the same sh1te as against Mayo - let them waltz up on frot of the goal then foul
Hasta la victoria siempre

Captain Obvious

Who has the wind in this half? A Salthill seaside wind can be worth up to six points.

Go home ref

Tends to blow across the pitch in Salthill, but the commentator mentioned Derry's kickout getting held up in the wind, so Galway
Hasta la victoria siempre

Ref riding Derry a bit here

A big bit.

That was never a black for Rogers.

Galway getting handy enough frees.

I think there might actually be a worse referee in the country than Marty Duffy!

Walter Cronc

Ref a joke and those 2 tits commentating. Don't get me started!

Go home ref

It's Lane 0-7 Derry O-4 worst Reffing I've seen in years

Derry were 3-1 up then went 7-3 down. Good scores by Benny to stop the rot.

Great end to 2nd half by Derry.

Agree disgrace. The Derry CHB has been training all year to compete and is put off the field for that. Black card is a shambles.

Real snore fest so far. But with two teams set up to defend and at an extra windy Salthill that's to be expected. Majority of the frees were obvious fouls so I really don't see what the bandwagon developing here is about.

You'd think theee points wouldn't be a great lead with that wind, but it may be a crosswind and that would make it as much a hinderence as a help.
