Cavan are in New York for 5 days training, including 2 games against New York.

I know our opponents Monaghan were in Portugal.

What about the rest?

Complete waste of money in my opinion

Maybe but it is good to give something back to players too and get some bonding and training in at the same time

Rossfan

All right for Dublin being in a permanent training camp :P
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM

Jinxy

Think our lads are off to Mosney.

If you had a bus you could travel anywhere in Ireland.

Line Ball

Down are in London at the minute and thats the main reason our leagues haven't started yet and now the first round has been postponed due to the Div 2 final.

I heard from Donegal connections that Jimmy McGuinness had 12 training camps last year. 11 of them were in Ireland. His financial backers in England were writing cheques like they were going out of fashion.

One thing that always intrigues me. What do managers and players work at that they can have so much time off????

Wildweasel74

Derry run a tight ship financial, no sporting ventures here, though weekend at Bernies not out of the equation lol

I assume most 'training camps' were Friday-Sunday. Lots of IC teams do two day camps regularly enough.

Did Roscommon not do a lot of team bonding in the past?
