My in laws are from Antrim and my parents are from Fermanagh. I felt obliged to start this thread.

I'll be at the game Sunday. Expecting an easy Fermanagh win?

Very tight one to call.  League form out the window and Antrim certainly wouldn't fear Fermanagh (and vice versa). Had McCourty been playing I'd have been worried about this game but think Fermanagh good enough to scrape home by a couple of points in the end up.  Either side would get duffed by Donegal in the semi anyhow .

Captain Obvious

Antrim at the level Fermanagh were in three years ago. Fermanagh at home should win this game by four to six points.

Good man ck. I hope Fermanagh win it, because my gf is from there. On the otherhand, I check in the Antrim 'child board' regularly enough too, so I wouldn't be too disappointed to see them winninv. Shame Antrim hurlers are playing the same day...
Inaugural Football Championship Prediction Winner.

Antrim flying apparently.
Beat Kildare in a friendly a couple of weeks ago.
Baker has got a united panel now.
Going to be tough.  League form means nothing.
Wanted.  Forwards to take frees.
Not fussy.  Any sort of ability will be considered

Unfortunately we hear this most years!

I think that Antrim can defy the bookies on Sunday and win in Fermanagh.

Negatives:
We have an extremely young squad.
Alot of men will be making their championship debut.
Very few of our players have won an Ulster Championship game.
We have not won an Ulster Championship game since 2010.
We have won one qualifier game since 2010.
Sean Quigley is carrying an injury according to local press.
We have a different game plan this year.  The Defence first attitude seems to have gone and we are conceding a lot of goals.
Antrim still have the nucleus of the panel that made the final a couple of years ago.

Positives:
We have an extremely young squad.
We have Pete McGrath managing the team.
Panel seem very united and we have got Sean Quigley back in the panel.
We did not get relegated from division 3 and managed a very respectable 3rd place.
We have a different game plan this year.  The Defence first attitude seems to have gone and we have been scoring heavily.
Barry Owens back now in the fold as well as Mark Murphy since the league ended.  Will give us options from the bench.
We are playing a team a division us who seem to be in a bit of disarray in the league but since the league seem to have sorted their issues.
Wanted.  Forwards to take frees.

I would add to your positives that you're playing a team a division beneath you who seem to be in a bit of disarray...

Lost our last 2 home games in the Ulster Championship.  Not the Fortress it used to be.
Will be lucky if the total crowd is 10000 on Sunday IMO.
Wanted.  Forwards to take frees.

Fermanagh 4/9 Antrim 9/4. Draw at 8/1
The bookies are rarely wrong. They would suggest an easy enough win for Fermanagh

I think the Draw is worth a punt
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Odds have changed. Fermanaghs odds have shortened. Must be money going on them

Gold

Mark murphy is some plus for Ferm.

If Tomas is on form we have a chance though!!
