Being going to Dub matches many years.  In the recent past, have watched us lose many a match at Croke park. These included hamerings to Kerry and Tyrone.
We took it ,such is the lot of the GAA supporter. Those were the days when folk could depend on Dublin to 'bottle it' or get found out at the business end of the championship.
Money or Croke Park never seemed relevant back then.

Now we have a good side. Reasons must be found to explain this good side. Did money really buy that Bernard Brogan goal yesterday? Cluxton's must talked about kick outs , money? Paul Flynn's and MDMA sheer appetite for the game? Is it not possible that we just have good team and this is our time? Not sure how long it will last but good management and good players are the significant reasons. Search elsewhere if you must but you may have to learn to take it the way us Dubs did when things were not so good.

.... and on the Derry 'swing'. Individual league results rarely have a bearing on silverware.

So Dublin were getting destroyed by some teams even though they had Bernard Brogan, Cluxton etc. What changed? A whole line of underage talent came through a system that cost millions, that's what changed.
You can try to ignore it all you like, just like ignoring a 21 point swing in just over a month, but the money has bought success. The facts speak for themselves.

The same thing that always changes when a team becomes successful. Good management structure and fixing what was wrong. Many point to Meath's  beating of Dublin as a turning point. Pat Gilroy done a great job in changing the shape and mindset of the team. Jim Gavin has progressed it further by playing positive attacking football that is great to watch (but when it brings silverware, it is hard to stomach for others).
