There was a young lad playing for IT Sligo this year called Evan Regan. Can anyone tell me how the hell he's not on the Mayo panel??!  ???
Simple explanation-He was invited to join the panel at the beginning of the year but opted not to as he wanted to concentrate on Sigerson, u21 and his studies, but there are rumors that he will join the panel in a few weeks.

If you're going to tell 80% of the story you should go all the way.

Evan was on the Mayo senior panel all of last year up until just before the Connacht final but was dropped for financial reasons when the Mayo board put the squeeze on Horan. 7-8 months of training only to be told that you're surplus to requirements. Evan had 'Sigerson, U21 and studies' last year and was still on yer panel. Everyone knows that contributed to the approach he's took this year.

Regan is quite honestly as good as I've seen. Any county who can do without him must have serious serious inside forwards!!

Andy Moran, Black Card??

Agreed. Makes a mockery of the rule if that's not a black card.

joemamas

bizarre first half, kerry dominating midfield, mayo may have won only one clean possession. kerry scoring rate off the charts they may have only 1 or 2 wides. a o se and kev mac have given up 5 or 6 possessions between them, in the modern game where you are not inclined to foul, cannot give away ball anywhere on field.
hopefully mayo can pick it up a bit, kerry look much sharper

Win, lose or draw from here, Mayo look very poor today and so far this year.

Was that trip by Pa Kilkenny not a perfect example of a black card offence? But he got a yellow??
That was never a square ball!!

Excuse me for talking while you're trying to interrupt me

Not a bad game at all in my opinion, some great points and a goal that will take some beating this year, pin point accuracy .

Questionable officiating but that's the norm these days.

Totally agree , Mayo are fooked and will not be the slightest bit surprised if we came a cropper in the Hyde in June .
Walk-in down mchale rd , sun out, summers day , game day . That's all .

Thats a typical over the top attitude that seems to effect some of our supporters.

Horan is still trying out new players. The team isnt at championship pitch yet.We bet Kerry by 5 points and you're focusing on the negative and saying we'll lose a game three months from now, ffs.

Exactly, the same people who would question if we went hell for leather and won or got to final of league, then lost to a good but not top team, losing to the likes of Roscommon, Laois or Cavan in the summer.
Time to take a more chill-pill approach to life.

And there's the other end of the scale that never see anything wrong with Mayo under Horan.

Have Mayo been poor  in the league so far, yes they have , nothing sensationalist about it.

Today's game could of gone either way , Kerry looked far sharper for a lot of the game but as per they seem to run out of steam lately.

The hits that Kerry were putting in during the first half made Mayo look very boy like .

The elephant in the room that nobody is willing to air their opinion on is Andy Moran, he's finished as a starter .

The full back line is atrocious and a very exposed line everytime ,hennelly is not as solid as Clarke.

They are some points imo that make for my verdict of poor form, if you disagree fair enough , doesn't make you right.

June 8th v Roscommon, if you're a betting man get on the Rossie to end their thirteen year famine against the mighty Mayo.
