Can't see too many going to the final if Ulster aren't involved.

See it is €10/£8 into semi final and €5/£4 into final. I assume paying into semifinal gets you in to final as well. At those prices, and if the weather is fair, you might get up to 2000 at a guess.

Seeing I have a free season ticket pass it would be a pity not to catch at least one of the games.

The Dubs going on holiday instead of taking part in this, how convenient.

Panel is:

Padraig Rath - Louth
Eoghan O Flaherty  - Kildare
Padraig O Neill - Kildare
Cathal McNally - Kildare
Tommy Moolick - Kildare
Ollie Lyons - Kildare
Ray Connellan - Westmeath
Kieran Martin - Westmeath
Paul Sharry - Westmeath
John Heslin - Westmeath
Donie Kingston - Laois
Evan O Carroll - Laois
John Maloney - Offaly
Graham Guilfoyle - Offaly
Alan Mulhall - Offaly
Niall McNamee - Offaly
Dean Healy - Wicklow
Brian Malone  - Wexford
Stephen Bray - Meath
Donal Keoghan - Meath
Graham Reilly - Meath
Daniel St Leger - Carlow
Barry Gilleran - Longford
Paddy Collum - Longford

How did the Biffos get 4 on the panel?

Vinny Claffey

4 decent lads in fairness, but I'd say it's as much about availability as vinny claffey

According to the ad in yesterday's Irish News, it's £4/€5 for the semi. Competition ticket is €10/£8 which would technically gain you entry to all 3 games.

I assume the final is €5/£4 too then.

Weak enough squad without taking the Dubs into consideration. Only ourselves & Eastmeath are sending our top players really. Availability/interest seems to be at a low ebb, time of year doesn't help.
Westmeath - Home of the Christy Ring Cup...

List for the Connacht panel?
We have O'Malley, Collins, Seànie Mac, C Shine, Cregg(er), 2 Murtaghs and our International panellist Ends Smith.
Didn't hear the rest.

8 Rossies should be enough to bate the rest of Ireland anyday.

Good to see a few Tyrone Hurlers making the Ulster panel. Not sure if that's happened before.

Mayo lads would be too good to be on the same pitch as any Rossie. Leroys, Turbo Tom's and Aidos appearance fee at the local lovely girls pageant would fall through the floor at the mere thought of been on the same pitch as the sheep lovers.

Mayo sending two downers who wouldn't make most county panels in Douglas and O'Shea.
O'shea wouldn't make a good club team

Douglas still unproven at this level, a handy way for Mayo management to find out a bit more about his worth. Conor O'shea struggled 18 months ago against Roscommon in the championship. Looked out of his debt that day, but so did Diarmuid O'Connor? Hard to see either get much of a run.

Cregg(er) and Ends Smith obviously dropped out.
Hope our 6 lads get home safe from them Northern badlands.
