I've heard of the "six degrees of separation" theory before, i.e. that any two people on could be connected through a chain of (on average) six people. Never heard tell of this Bacon Number caper before. Type an actors names into google along with "bacon number" and it tells you how many steps they are from a link to Kevin Bacon. Crucial information alright!!

Seems most actors (at least well known ones) have a Bacon Number of 2!

Impressive lists if they were using just your own general knowledge! Though what I meant was, what's the highest bacon number you can find on google's 'bacon number' search result, without googling "highest bacon number"! (i.e. you can only google "(actor name) bacon number").

If the six degrees theory is right, then most of us here are six step from Kev too, so guessing a well known actor/actress with a 4-6 can't be that easy?!

Larry Reilly invented Smokey Bacon Crisps. He liked them but not alot. After that he considered he needed no further connection to bacon.

And so it was.

Larry instead has 12lbs of galtee sausages and 24 eggs on 6 batch loaves served every morning to him before he gets out of bed.
