The championship is just around the corner which means the Sunday Game back on our screens.

It's about time RTE brought back the original Sunday Game theme tune - it was the sound of the summer for all GAA fans!

Feck me, does this outdated rubbish deserve two threads????

We should have An Dearg Doom as the opening theme song to Gaelic games, now that would get the aul blood going. ;D
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

have to agree the new theme tune is a complete piece of shit. the person who wrote it must have been blocked off his face. what climbing bastard in rte thought he'd meddle with tradition? its a bloody funeral dirge. personally, i'd find the birdie song more exciting.

WTF is this obsession with the 'music' RTÉ chooses to play over the intro to their highlights programme? We have at least theree threads in full swing about it now. What difference does it make? And even if it did, who with even a smidgin of musical cred could have any time for a piece of formulaic pap by James F****n Last??

I dunno.
