Murder Mystery Evening

Has anyone ever organised one of these?

I'd like to organise one for a few work-mates (10-14 people).  One of the girls at work has very kindly offered to host it in her house but I'd probably like to have it in a venue if possible so as to not put her out - cost permitting!!  I've seen some packs online as well which you can buy for hosting at home and they look pretty good.

If anyone has any advice for this then it would be greatly appreciated.
