Agreed bar cillian o Connor. James o donoghue is nailed on

MDMA has player of the year sewn up.

Jack won't get young player after the last two games. No idea who will get that

ballinaman

Top scorer in the championship must have a chance of YPOTY surely?

Is he still young enough? 2 already/

Maybe Mannion still has a chance for YPOTY?

Yep, still eligible.

Think it's under 23 to be eligible for YPOTY. O Connor would have another 2 years. He will probably make it 3 in a row this year.

nrico2006

Can't believe that O'Connor could end up with 3 young player of the year awards.  It should really be for players in their breakthrough seasons.  O'Connor is a good free taker but an average enough inter county forward.

Frightening how good he's going to be in a few years. He's taking frees off the ground with his left now in training. Expect him to be using right and left off the ground next year.

They are wrong because Monaghan and Tyrone will get one each.

I make you wrong.

Tyrone's only chance of an All Star is if Cavanagh is judiciously moved to midfield. Which would make a mockery of it all. And if they're going to do that, they might as well move MD McAuley into the half-forwards too.

Monaghan won't get an All Star as their contenders are defenders, where Mayo and Dublin have left all around them for dust.

I reckon the team will be entirely Mayo and Dublin, except for Gooch.

McManus is very much in contention, him or Walshe will get one for Monaghan imo.

Syferus

I'd have McManus before O'Donoghue but he might get gifted one before Kerry made the semis and sure doesn't that mean Kerry deserve two All-Stars?

Hard to see Cian Sullivan getting a midfield All-Star. Didn't stand out much for me this year at all but people are talking about him at centre-back. I hope not.

Sure that happened years ago!!! The All Stars are meaningless

They may have their faults but the one thing they aren't is meaningless.

AZOffaly

Since Brian Whelehan was ignored, I view the All Stars with a bit of disdain I have to say. Still a huge honour for the winners mind you, but some of the selections make a mockery of the process down through the years.
