Yeah suppose people can head out afterwards, some of the Qualifier games be at unusual time, 3 or 4 o'clock, and have a dead athmosphere. Carlow and Laois are neighbours so not much travel involved.

Only thing about Friday nights, is lads getting out of work early to prepare, or take the day off completely.

I think the Friday night option is a great idea if its use is targeted at specific fixtures i.e. local derbies, and the players are not abused.
