Good win.

Any other final scores?
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Could be money made backing Offaly Saturday so...

PP Odds

Kildare U18 v Offaly U18    4/7    7/1    7/4

Westmeath U18 v Wicklow U18    1/3    8/1    11/4

Laois U18 v Meath U18    6/4    7/1    4/6

Dublin U18 v Wexford U18    1/5    10/1    4/1

Leinster Outright (pp)

Dublin U18    2/1
Meath U18    11/4
Kildare U18    7/2
Laois U18    6/1
Westmeath U18    13/2
Offaly U18    8/1
Wexford U18    20/1
Wicklow U18

I'd be putting money on Wicklow at those prices. Westmeath are missing their best player Loughlin for this game, and if it wasnt for him, Wexford would have won handy against them. Going by comparisons, Wicklow beat Carlow by a similar score to Wexford, so there wouldnt be much between Wexford/Wicklow and Westmeath. Loughlin missing I think is a huge blow to Westmeath, and at those odds, a good punt on Wicklow.

not a chance
Westmeath have two big players back who were playing with Granard school
and game is in Mullingar
Can see 5+ points in this game at least

well called. Good win for them, sounds like they had a great start that Wicklow could never claw back.

Good result for Kildare too. Impressive win. Kildare v Dublin and Meath v Westmeath. Good derby games for the semi finals.

Westmeath have a huge issue with beating Meath at underage (though this bunch of players did win the Gerry Reilly Under 16 tournament in 2011, beating Meath and Dublin
I wouldn't put money on them

Is Mescal still playing rugby Dinny?

Might play the odd club game but is no longer in the Leinster system. Very skillful player.

Minor next year as well I believe.

Semi-finals are on this Sat 3pm

Odds from PP

Dublin U18 5/6  7/1    6/5 Kildare U18

Meath U18 4/11 15/2 11/4 Westmeath U18

Kildare minor games against Dublin tend to be tight over the last 4 years, last year been the exception although that minor team produced Paddy Brophy, Niall Kelly and David Hyland (Jesus how did we expect them to before against Dublin on Sunday when you think about it).

Interested to see how Wayne Fitzpatrick has developed.

Takes an eternity to finish the Leinster Minor Championship. Still only in the Semi final stages ffs. Started back in April with the back door ...

Suppose the LC disrupts it for a few weeks too.

Makes perfect sense to me, there's so many counties it'll take plenty of weeks anyways and you can't try and play it any time the exams or on which eliminates June completely from the calendar until at least the final week or so. One of the few bits of odd scheduling that actually makes sense in the GAA.

I thought we'd be a bigger price than 6/5 considering it's in Parnell Park.

A minor title is long overdue. If it was achieved could Murphy/Lacey become a possible alternative to McGeeney with so many of these players coming through to senior now?

Then they should run it as straight knock start in May and continue on after the break for the LC.
Stop start sytem running from Arpil gives a team no momentum. Same can be said for the LC break, but its has to be stopped for that period

There is only 3 more counties then in Ulster, and I wouldn't regard Kilkenny footballers as a number at any level

Can't see anything other than a Kildare win in this game. The Dublin team are 90 per cent first year minors. It seems they are planning for next year already. One of the starters is only 15 years old.

Jinxy

He's probably already built like a brick sh*thouse and can do 100m in 9.5 seconds.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

:) :) He's an average sized lad, fast but a real footballer. Conor Kavanagh from Ballymun Kickhams, a wing back, certainly one one to watch. Dublin have lost one of their midfielders with a bad injury, so I think they will really struggle against Kildare.
