Shamrock Shore

Longford club team had a 6ft 5 very thin lad in midfield in the early 80s.

Wasn't much use but he caught the odd ball.

Anyhoo one day when he caught the ball but immediately fumbled it a shout from the crowd

"Jazes xxxxxx, if you were any longer you'd be late"

Well....it was funny at the time.
