Irish Centre - New Derby Road
O'Neills - Hanover Street
Pogue Mahones - Seel Street (across from Bombed out Church)
Shennanigans - Tithbarn Street
The Liffey - Dale Street
Paddys Bar - London Road
Downunder - Concert Square (Aussie Bar)

I enjoyed Pogues for the football during my time in Liverpool. Is Krunchy Fried Chicken still open round the corner? It was some spot for a dirty feed after a rake of pints.

Only place I can add to that is Flanagans on Mathew Street.

O I forgot about Flanagans Apple (not a fan of Mathew Street in general myself so not on my radar, reminds me too much of Temple Bar). Seems like an alright pub though.

Yip it's still there.

I watched last years AIF in O'Neills on Hanover street. Big screens and great atmosphere.

Hard to beat Pogues for a good atmosphere. But if you need a p!ss, go outside!!

+1, great wee spot for a match....nice aul hen burger (fillet) too

If you want to hear the match as if your in your on own living room and quality screen St Michaels Irish Centre is the only spot, Ill be there myself.  The pubs are great but for big matches I personally would rather watch it somehere where you can really take in what is happening, you dont get that in pubs. Good, cheap pints too and there should be a bit of singing after with a local regular from Tipp!

They were luxury compared to pissing across the road in the blue angel.  I always enjoyed Pogues in second year (2003/2004) as the Tyrone jersey replaced the orange rag above the bar as the reigning AI champions!

The blue Angel *Shudders*, It was the sweat on the walls that got me in there.

Ah, the Raz. It must be the universal baseline for nasty, i.e. "Club X in New York/Tokyo/Timbuktu is not as grotty/even grottier than the Raz"

The Raz! Was racking my brain for ages but couldn't remember the nickname for it. Think id unconsciously repressed it for the sake of mygood mental health!

Pogues or O'Neills will probably be packed for it espec with the students being back. So if you're happy with that I would go to either, preferred O'Neills myself when I was over as there was slightly more room and got served quicker at the bar!

Sheannanigans, The Liffey or Flanagans are other options as previously mentioned and while there should be a good crowd in each they should be a tad less busy. Two big Premiership games Sunday as well so a lot of the bars will be stuffed.

Pogues and Shenanigans are nice spots. O'Neills is a bit on the expensive side.
