Four of the top ten teams in the country going into the championship were Ulster teams - Ulster football is still in a very good place overall.

Half way through the Dublin v. Wexford second half last week, I was longing for the Down v. Monaghan game of the previous week, or the Tyrone v. Armagh game of the week before that!
If Ulster is being called a c* of m*, what is Leinster?

How can the one half decent match in the whole of Munster pre year not cause it to be a cesspit of mediocrity?!

So to sum up the thread, Mike is a complete arsehole and Kerry teams shite the togs against Ulster sides.

Nothing we didn't already know.

Speaking of the provinces being a cesspit of mediocrity, let the records state that the Munster Championship took place on 10th June this year and finished Cork 0-17 Kerry 0-12.

You would think with all handouts that they get from the British that they'd make a better fist of things.

In fairness, it's not just Brits giving them handouts, it's ze Germans too. But yet they still shite the togs when they meet Ulster sides.

Armagh - OUT
Derry - OUT
Fermanagh - OUT
Cavan - Only in it cos they bate another Ulster county
Antrim - Only in it cos they bate London
Donegal, Down, Tyrone and Monaghan - Still there because they haven't played a qualifier yet.

Where did it all go wrong? What did the Queen do to us?
Slightly improved situation now that Tyrone and Antrim have qualifier wins against non-Ulster teams under their belt (even if they were against mediocre teams)?

Wildweasel74

after yesterday do we rename this thread? surely connacht got the edge on us for the mediocrity title?
