KERRY 3:7

yellowcard

No Brian Sheehan at midfield, big loss for Kerry. Otherwise its a strong looking team. This should be a very interesting match. Fancy Kerry to shade it. They will not want to go down the route of the qualifiers more than Cork considering the miles on the clock that they have.

Sheehan is a massive loss................................. his place kicking is worth at least 3/4 pts a game......................

Would agree with this minus the dots.

Bit surprised by that Kerry team (if it is the one that starts). Would rate Enright as one of the better young defenders around, thought he played well in this fixture last year but he loses out this time, while Bohane is another who could consider himself a bit unlucky.

O'Connor has opted for the greater experience of O'Mahony, who did well at full back against Walsh in the League. Cork should call their bluff a little here and switch Walsh to midfield, bring in Goulding (if match fit) and move Colm O'Neill into full-forward. But Counihan is conservative by nature and will probably go with the 15 that started against Mayo.

Home advantage and no Bryan Sheehan makes it Cork for me.

G for years people slagged Sheehan when he played corner forward, i remember him and another player coming in for alot of stick after an all ireland loss one year, now Kerry can`t do without him

Captain Obvious

The Kerry bench isn't as strong as it use to be.

Whatever happened to Jack O'Sheas young lad?
He looked he had the makings of a good player.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

His game has changed a bit though in the intervening years -- more of a grafter and worker now, not just a sublime kicker.
Carlsberg don't do Gombeenocracies, but by jaysus if they did...

Glenbeigh/Glencar poached him from Leixlip. It's terrible to see the ethos of the association abused in this manner.

;)
There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?

AZOffaly

Killian Young is not a corner back. If they can't play him out on the wing, or even at Centre Back, then he shouldn't be there at all. I expect Cork to win this.

I'll need to see a gas bill so.

Keane

The idea that Sheehan kicks somewhere in the region of five frees a game that are unkickable by anyone else is bizarre.
