There are many families and people finding it tough around now, so maybe take a minute to remember them and in particular the McLean family who lost their son Michael so tragically in Nicaragua. His brother and parents speak so well on this video report from a tribute game the other night in Casement, including his Mum who says they are 'so lucky' to have had Michael for 26 years. http://tinyurl.com/726flhk

And a Happy New Year to you too! Seriously, why write this when it takes away from the point - a tribute to the family and Michael.

What a condescending piece of guff to send out to the GAA Community of all the collective peoples on this island especially at this time of year.

Am I missing something? That was heartbreaking!! A nice, good, decent, GAA family destroyed and the GAA and the wider community rallied round them. Is that not what the association is all about? Good luck to the family in their dark hours

Poor lad,

God bless the family and give them strength.

Nice gesture from both the club and college.
