Can someone in Belfast please confirm if the city is "literally vibrating with joy" as claimed by Gary Lightbody?

So this fascination with celebrity and their lifestyles has no negatives?
It's a lot easier to sing karaoke than to sing opera

I personally wouldn't go to it if it was in the back garden.

Lady GaGa had a pint of stout in the Morning Star yesterday evening.  Not bad looking in the flesh it has to be said!

Any streams for the music awards?
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

City Hall looks absolutely amazing. That open air concert makes the city look fab. Well done.

Seen some footage from the City Hall earlier - why do goons go to live concerts and then feel compelled to watch proceedings through a 3 inch phone screen? They'd have a better view on tv at home.

There has been a fascination with celebs for years now - tonight isn't going to change that because a music award show isn't the root of it - it's media outlets who supply the demand from those that are curious enough to want it.
Last I looked MTV was a media outlet.
Also fyi, the media create the demand from the masses before the hard sell.
