Hard luck to the lakettes, exciting ending but they were lucky to draw the match after going asleep after their first 2 points. 15 for Cavan had a left foot Ciaran McDonald would be proud of. They'll have to score more than 5 points the next day to win it.

Any word on Cavan Westmeath replay?

Jinxy

What the hell was the Monaghan keeper at for the goal?!
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Bit rough on New York having to come back for a replay....

Some good hits in this game.
The Cork full back and centre back are tough cookies.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Cavan were lucky to get the draw but at the same time, should have had the game wrapped up long before Westmeath got their first goal....   In fairness Westmeath got a decent start and then didn't do too much until the middle of the second half...

Cork have the blanket defence down!

Jinxy

Monaghan got a free about 30 yards out with 30 seconds to go and needed a goal to win yet there were only about 3 Monaghan players inside the opposition 45.
What the hell were the rest of them doing?
Watching ladies football can be quite frustrating, they do a lot of silly stuff.
Cork deserved the win though and they have some superb athletes.
Very impressed with their no.4, think her name was O'Reilly.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

I guess nobody wants to watch the highlights of today's games.

21:30 No Reservations (2007, Comedy) A fusspot chef's precisely organised life turns topsy turvy when her sister is killed in a car crash, leaving her to look after her nine-year-old niece. Adding to her problems, a laid-back sous chef starts work at the restaurant and creates an immediate rivalry - but ultimately this gives way to romance. Comedy, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, Aaron Eckhart, Abigail Breslin and Patricia Clarkson.

23:20 Ladies Football Final Highlights Michael Lyster presents action from the All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship final between Cork and Monaghan at Croke Park. Plus, action from the All-Ireland Intermediate and Junior Football Championship finals. Commentary by Marty Morrissey and John Kenny.

Anyone else think that yellow card for Cavan was very harsh?
