Tipp down to 14 men at start of second half. Full-back off after second yellow card for pull on Murphy.

Murphy with two early points to put Donegal 0-5 to 0-1 up two minutes into second half.

McHugh reckons the ref may go a bit lenient on Tipp now!

J70

Donegal 0-5 Tipp 0-2

McHugh (diplomatically) criticizing his own son for not cutting out the pass that led to the score! :D

Azzurri

Dublin down to 14.
Ros kicking this away with missed goal chance and wides.

Dublin 2-03 Roscommon 0-05

Sounds like Tipp missed a decent goal chance there.

From what I've heard this year, Peter Boyle may be passing Durkan and Michael Boyle soon enough to take over as senior county keeper.

15 minutes into second half... Donegal 0-8 Tipperary 0-4

Azzurri

Dublin 2-07 Roscommon 0-06

Dubs seem to have taken control since the sending off.

J70

Ten minutes left in Parnell Park... Donegal lead 0-10 to 0-4. Murphy with 0-5.

Zulu

Dublin 2-10 Ros 0-7, Dublin down to 14 but only 2 or 3 minutes left.

2 minutes left - Donegal 0-12 Tipp 0-4

Charlie Collins singing young McHugh's praises! Sounds like he's having a good game! The auld fella reluctantly agreeing!

Where would we be without Murphy, either on this or the senior team!

INDIANA

I'm very impressed with donegal. They have more players than Murphy and play like a  senior team rather than a 21 team.

J70

McHugh junior gets man of the match!

J70

Whatever happens in the final, Big Jim will have a legitimate shot at succeeding John Joe Doherty when the senior job comes up next. Well done to the lads - only the fourth All Ireland semi-final we've won, out of something like fifteen attempts!

Should be a good final! We've won our previous three non-schools All Ireland finals, one senior, two U-21 - wonder who'll be favourites? Nothing like playing the Dubs though, whatever the level!

Highland Radio says Breffni Park, May 1st.
