Strange question I know but someone may be able to help. Apparently older versions of the Samsung Tocco do, but not the newer ones. Ta.

Good question. You can get the Teacs utility and install in it the phone, http://teacs.ie/. Since this means that a T9 dictionary exists I am not sure why this hasn't gone on to be installed in the firmware of phones. My phone has a Galician dictionary, not sure why it should not have Gaelige.

If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

Hiya, a little late, I know :)

A new app has just come out - well, the app was there before but Gaeilge wasn't available - for Android phones. It's called Adaptxt and it's free from the Google Play store, you can download dictionaries both for Gaeilge and English and easily swap between them. If your're thusly inclined, they also released Scots Gaelic and Manx at the same time ;)

Works better than Téacs which was ok to begin with but it's seriously out of date at the moment.
Do, or do not. There is no try.
