Stewards been attacked, Refs being attacked, Meath chanting on the hill in English accents. Has the opening up of Croke park to foreign sports caused all our problems?

Teams from the Pale should not be allowed into the All Ireland.

I hope you're taking the piss.

No i'm quite serious. The way i see an undesirable element who visited Croke park during the "Foreign sports" era liked what they saw and decided to come back and brought all this nonsense with them.

I'm glad to finally see a Bord na n-Og section on GaaBoard.

I'm really hoping for some serious debate. I hope it doesn't descend into farce. I really think foreign sports have corrupted the GAA. Soccer style chanting, booing and referee chasing now seems to be common place. In my humble opinion this has only got common place since the "Foreign sports" came into Croke Park.

You are foreign to our sports if you think these things started in 2007.

Well we didn't learn anything from the respect for referees in rugby

I dont remember too much lynching of referees in either code.

What Joe Sheridan did against Louth is a classic example of what we learned from Rugby. He dive towards the line. Muppet there are plenty of examples of the soccer crowd attacking referee's. Sure arent the louth ones all Dundalk and Drogheda fans.

Referees getting abuse has been the norm for as long as I remember.

In fact they get it far worse in club games which makes your argument invalid.

You blamed the opening of Croke Park in 2007 to foreign games, not the existence of foreign games.

Can you at least stick to your own poor argument?

The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

It's all down to the recession. If people had house prices rising by 50% a year nobody would still be talking about Sunday's match on Thursday.
