Labour could nationalise the Premiership and impose a salary scale. It would be the best way to help England.

It's nights like this you wish Roy Keane was still on ITV.

Eng have momentum. To be fair to Rooney he's been England's best player

I thought Gary Cahill was very good too but wasn't as clever as Suarez for the second goal. Gerrard was at fault for both goals but England are a mediocre bunch. Bit unlucky with the ref bottling the second yellow for Godin???? on 28 mins .

Rooney deserved that goal and he could have scored three or four goals tonight.
Him and Johnson have been the better players but other than that shot straight at the keeper don't know when else he would have scored?
Hit the crossbar with a header and got close with a free. England only have themselves to blame for this near certain early exit. Roy Hodgson was never going to be good enough and the two best England defenders are sitting at home watching this World cup.

Stevie G is done. How did he get staying on the pitch?

I suspect they were afraid he wouldn't be able to come off.

How do you make out Gerrard was at fault for both goals?
First goal Jagielka was awful and hadn't a clue where Suarez was and second goal Cahill let Suarez get the wrong side of him and didn't follow him. Yeah Gerrard knocked it on but Cahill never anticipated it like good defenders should. Plus it was a fantastic finish.
The English defence was at fault for both goals imo.
