Joe Kernan looked a bit stunned there.

He's not the only one !!!!!

Jimmy White's getting no Christmas card this year from Joe.

Massive investment in Joe hasn't paid off.

Will Joe be back ? Will Joyce be back ?

Ah f**k ... now it's Tommy Lyons.

The only man worse than McStay

Hardy

First 60  minutes don't matter according to Tommy. It's all about what you score in the last ten. He's always at that nonsense. Why do they bother recording the scores in the first 60 minutes at all, Tommy?

Jinxy

I think it was a penalty to be honest.
The Galway player put his body between the kicker and the ball and didn't seem to touch the ball itself.
That's a foul in any mans language.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Don't foul, wide ball  :D

Yer man was incredibly annoying alright. Any idea who it was?

SLIGONIAN?

1991 since both galway/mayo out & Roscommon still there  :o

Who would have thought that Wexford could have pulled that game out of Galway's bag in the last 5 or so minutes, considering what went on before. Awful game from 2 struggling teams but fair fxcks to Wexford for coming out on top.

Was it Faherty in goals doing the shouting? It will be impossible to judge Sligo until August, regardless of whether they win Connacht or not. They may be the real deal or they may not. This years Connacht Championship has been on a par with the early to mid 90s in terms of quality.

He just says sh!t for the sake of it anyway ...

Shur wasn't he helping Johnno?

Galway were poor but that ref cost them an awful lot towards the end. Didnt think it was a penalty, He gave some very dubious frees about illegal hand passes and Gary O'Donnell (Who impressed me for the first time ever) should have had a free at the end. Not sure where McStay was coming from saying it was an excellent refereeing performance. Footnote to McStay: Gary Sice is left footed, not right footed.

Lyons is some gobshite all right, at least McStay has a brian in his head even if he can be a bit annoying to listen to. Cannot believe they are paying him for his opinion!

Possibly, but in the heat of provincial championship it's still a great achievement to beat the big two in any year ... perceived poor standard or not!

Just saw it again on RTE; Mullahy clearly gets a touch on the ball. That is what I thought when I saw it in real time. It was a great tackle; Wrong decision from the ref. There can be no argumet otherwise

He did touch the ball.

Was it after he had made contact with the kickers leg?

I wonder at times ... e.g.  'good refereeing'?

Come on ...
