Following is a list of the Irish boys Playing Australian Rules. With the Season opener this morning, between The Carlton Blues vs The Richmond Tigers.

Adelaide Crows – Brian Donnelly from County Louth.

Brisbane Lions – Pearce Hanley from County Mayo, and Niall McKeever from County Antrim

It's the opposite of the beef trade. Fuballers are born in Meath and then fattened in Ros  before being sent to the factory.

Kennelly is a jet, Hanley and O'Halpin are fair but the rest aren't much to enthuse about from an AFL view. Walsh might be all right in time but expect the balance home soon.
