the Ulster Council will not move their dates, thats for sure. Dual clubs are being hit by the Ulster council cause they don't recognise hurling here in the north

A disgrace if they don't move the Ulster intermediate hurling final to accomodate Carrickmore. St Johns in the hurling would (I hope) have no gripes.

Could move the hurling provisionally to the 7th Nov (as the Tyrone football winners have an Ulster club football match on the 31st October) and then if Carrickmore don't win in Tyrone bring it forward to the weekend of 31 October.

While I have sympathy for fixtures makers Coleraine got screwed over in the Ulster junior hurling (Ulster hurling game the day before the Derry senior football championship).

Should the dual player not be encouraged rather than barriers put up in front of him?

Well, it will be grand if the Ulster Council try and facilitate the Tyrone club and reward the efforts put in by the the club.

I won't hold my breath on that one.

Sure,hit it yourself Ref!

Are those fixtures correct drici? Good to see common sense has prevailed, will give the hurlers another week to prepare anyway! The supporters will be delighted as well!

Great to hear it!

Loughgiel and Cloughmills are neighbouring clubs so hopefully some decent support out for them both.

Overthebar!

looking likely that the burren and coleraine game will be put back a week from the 31st to the 7th of november now....
