Padraig for winning 3 majors out of about 70 he has played in?

Good decision IMO... up with very best in the world and totally down to the individual to take all the pressure and responsibility rather than a team game

I was flicking channels - what was the top 10 ?

longrunsthefox

Has he not been in top five for longer than that... maybe not. Who would you give it to Minder?

Missed some and only seen the top 7:

7. Christy Ring
6. Sonia O'Sullivan
5. Roy Keane
4. George Best
3-1 as above

Dunno what the selection criteria was.

I saw Vincent O'Brien - no 8 I think he was.

Sean Kelly was there as well.

Probably Joey Dunlop or John O'Shea

Only saw the end of it myself. I thought Barry McGuigan would have been in the top three. Aye, I suppose Joey is a good shout and I'd be more inclined towards non-team sports people. Who the f** is John O'Shea by the way?... the boy that organises the GOAL game for the Third World?  ???  or do you mean Jack O'Shea?

Tony Baloney

Joey Dunlop must certainly rate higher than BOD and I wouldn't argue with anyone putting
him above a man with asterisks against his wins.

Strange indeed. Top 5 at least you'd reckon.
