In a proper civilised society our esteemed Joint First Minister (Mr Robinson) would bee chief among the mourners at the funeral. Can anyone see this happening?

It doesn't bother me in the slightest that Robinson didn't or wouldn't go.

Despite it being late, I think Peter Robinson's statement was a lot more generous and dignified than Martin McGuinness's "We didn't like him, but he was a nice man"-style platitude.

Surely better than pretending they were best mates though? Surely that would be inappropriate.

Me either. Personally, I wouldn't go to his funeral if it was next door to me.
