I hate threads like this.  You could go on all day.  I tried before to list a top 3 or 5 and I think I settled for a top 20, and I liked them all equally.

I like the usual suspects, the likes of Bravheart, Shawshank, Godfathers etc but they will all come up.  I will fire a few of my favourites that don't seem to be as liked by others:

1) K Pax
2) The Legend of Bagger Vance
3) Rounders
4) Fallen
5) John Q
6) He Got Game
7) Menace to Society
8) Boyz in Da Hood
9) Above the Rim
10) Legends of The Fall
11) Contact
12) 7 Years in Tibet
13) Dances With Wolves
14) For the Love of the Game
15) Gladiator (Not The Russell Crowe movie)
16) Enemy At The Gates
17) Meet Joe Black
18) Hearts In Atlantis
19) 12 Monkeys
